Where to go in London?

On the 18th-21st of January I will be in London - a treat from the ever lovely manfriend for my birthday.  We have a couple of things lined up like going for 2 michelin star macaroni at Sketch Parlour, The Harry Potter Studios Tour and a jaunt to Camden.  But since I am a Scottish lass I am unsure about where all the non touristy gems are hidden.

So, where do I need to go? To eat, drink and shop?

Hit me up with places to visit.

Much love,

Victoria.

  3. Go to Camden- the indoor Lock Market is great for shopping for handmade jewellery and other gems. I'd recommend buying street food while you're there. There's what I could only describe as a bazaar of vendors just behind this markets selling all kinds of food. You can get great Chinese food for under a fiver! So good!

Covent Garden is great for shopping, street entertainment, and finding a nice place to stop for food or a few drinks.

I'd also recommend Selfridges and/or Harrods which are a must for shopping, and their food courts are always full of weird and wonderful food. Selfridges often has random new food companies selling gelato or cocktails and goodness knows what else!

Oh and Carnaby Street has always had a real alternative vibe!

  4. We missed out on street food the last we were there because we had our luggage with us at the time so we deffo be sampling some this time round. We did go to a place called The Cuban in Campden which was really good. Oh Carnaby - I've never been there so that might be a shout. I'll stick it in the list. Thanks.
